Seeding Stories

A storytelling workshop series running from  February-March 2011 dedicated to fostering active and culturally diverse community leaders.

After 7 weeks of encountering each other, holding safe and respectful listening space, sharing stories and opening to new friendships , members of the Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA), Vancouver Area Survivors of Torture (VAST) and MOSAIC (new immigrants to Canada) told their stories at the UNYA Learning Centre.

The Vancouver Society of Storytelling  is dedicated to building community and empowering both individuals and organizations through story-telling and story-listening. Seeding Stories is an example of one the many ways storytelling can be applied for social change.
